Nicholson says he's looking for love
AP - Jack Nicholson, the legendary ladies' man, says he'd like to fall in love again. "I never minded being a fool for love," the 70-year-old Oscar winner tells AARP The Magazine. "It's nice to have a place to be foolish. Ask any old friend of mine, they'll say, 'Jack's pretty smart, but in this area the man is beyond the pale. Don't ask him anything about love. Holy shiz!

Very very promising news that the writers strike may be over soon!

The Directors Guild quietly began negotiating with the AMPTP, aka the big media companies, just this month. And they've already reached a deal, it was announced on Thursday. It took them just six days of negotiating.

The writers, on the other hand, have been on strike since November 5th and talks between them and the producers reached a standstill in early December.

Both the writers and the directors were fighting for the same issues (Internet and DVD royalties). Now that the DGA has been able to reach a deal, hopefully the Writers Guild can use that as a blueprint for their own deal.

Big Media has to step up to the plate and begin the talks again, and together the writers and producers need to bring this ugly chapter in Hollywood to a close.
