Tantrums & Demands: Paris, Naomi & Amanda

From MSN:

Just how hands-on is Paris Hilton when it comes to protecting her image? Canada's CTV News claims the self-promotion savvy starlet tossed a hissy fit in an adult video store in Toronto last week after seeing posters in the window plugging her fame-cementing sex tape, "One Night in Paris."

Hilton, who has been in town filming the sure-to-be craptacular horror musical "Repo! The Genetic Opera," supposedly "stormed into" the skin flick-providing establishment and "demanded" they remove the offending advertisements.

"You guys can't use my image in a porn store," railed a woman in a skeleton costume and mask identified as Paris (by the by, she stepped out dressed as a skanky sailor girl and a skanky Alice in Wonderland over the weekend). "I'm going to call my lawyer and sue the [bleep] out of this place."

The legal action-threatening skull and bones then purportedly proceeded to tear down several of the posters.

"I really want them down because they're mean and this is not right," Paris is said to have commanded. "I'm really serious, this is disgusting. And I want the other ones too or I'm calling the [bleeping] cops."

In a nice bit of symmetry, CTV says the costumed conniption was captured on video.

According to the porno peddlers, a man claiming to be Hilton's manager turned up about 30 minutes after her alleged blowup and suggested they keep their lips zipped, warning that if any footage of the incident got out, they would be on the wrong side of a defamation-of-character suit.

CTV News says the store has already fielded offers for the footage from two U.S. entertainment shows.

This wouldn't be the first time Paris has taken matters into her own hands when it comes to her sex tape. Back in 2005, she was accused of taking a copy of it from a Los Angeles newsstand and walking off in a huff. That incident was also caught on video, although no charges were filed.

In other tantrum news, did Naomi Campbell lose her infamously short temper at Heathrow Airport last week?

According to the London Daily Mirror, the rage-prone supermodel "blew her top" after she missed her British Airways flight to New York, although, in a possible sign that she's growing as a human being, no minions were painfully pelted with cell phones during the alleged incident.

The paper says Campbell showed up at her gate 11 minutes before her flight was to take off and "demanded" to be let onboard, a request denied by some truly brave airline staffers.

"You have to let me on. Come on," the leggy looker reportedly beseeched.

When she was given the option of boarding without her couture-stuffed luggage, which would then be sent on a later flight, she apparently balked.

"You are joking," Naomi is said to have retorted. "You are always losing bags and I don't trust you with mine in a million years."

She then ranted, "I can't believe you won't allow me on your flight. What is this? Who must I speak to?"

Maintains an airport worker, "When [British Airways] staff explained she was too late, she exploded and stamped her foot. There was a tirade of abuse."

A rep for Campbell conceded she was "disappointed" she wasn't let on the plane, but asserts she accepted it with "good grace."

British Airways isn't commenting, but a company insider explains, "Naomi is one of our best customers so everyone is trying to keep hush-hush about her tirade."

Meanwhile, Amanda Bynes' reputation as an apple-cheeked sweetheart is being called into question by the New York Post, which says she was a high-maintenance handful during an appearance last week at the Turks and Caicos Film Festival.

An event organizer kvetches that the starlet, 21, requested four first-class plane tickets and a pair of hotel suites but didn't meet her obligations at the fest, where she was presented with a Rising Star award.

"I literally didn't see her for days after she arrived at the hotel," the insider alleges to the paper. "Everyone was wondering where she was. She was off jet-skiing, treating it like a vacation."

Also seemingly taking issue with Bynes' behavior was actress and festival co-producer Jasmine Guy, who "eventually confronted" her.

"For someone to come down and play diva and only enjoy the island was irresponsible," huffs the source. "Her people told us, 'If Jasmine speaks to Amanda again, she'll leave and not accept her award.'"

Amanda's rep, however, adamantly denounces the diva charges.

"It's absolutely not true," the flack defends to the Post. "She is the nicest girl, she makes no demands, she was offered those tickets and her rooms by the festival. She even paid for all her own meals."

Besides, adds an Amanda confidante, it was Guy who was acting up.

"She's crazy," the pal huffs to the paper. "She was screaming at her, 'I didn't invite you here to have fun! I invited you to work!' Amanda was happy to be there. She thought it was a huge honor."
